Adoc Talent Management is recruiting a “System Administrator” for its client, a dynamic and growing startup, a semiconductor company offering a portfolio of IoT connected devices including energy harvester/power management interfaces, microcontrollers and sensor solutions. They develop top-performing power harvesting technologies that derive, store and optimize energy to make device energy-autonomous and more efficient.
The System Administrator is responsible of the IT infrastructure development and maintainance (+/- 40%) and will provide support for the users (+/-60%). You will be in charge of all the IT related duties. It means you will have key responsibilities as provider of the tools used by the whole company staff. You will ensure computing performances and data reliability for the R&D team. You will make sure our IP stay safely inside the company. You will allow our sales and operational staff to work smoothly with their web-based applications, internally or externally. In addition to the administration and the maintenance of the IT resources, you will develop the company website and related web services.
Your daily tasks include:
You have a BS or Master degree in Computer science with at least 3 years of experience in IT System administration. An excellent knowledge of Linux and network security is necessary.
You have good knowledge of virtualization and distributed data storage, backup, scripting and CentOS. You have proven experience in web development.
You are an intelligent, rigorous and quality-conscious person. You communicate effectively with colleagues and management at all levels of the organisation. You are able to function professionally in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
You are a problem solver, dynamic and positive person. You are proactive, autonomous, persistent and result-oriented.
You have a perfect command of English and you can manage in French (willing to learn).
