We are currently seeking a talented Enamel Specialist to join a dynamic Automotive Transformation Department. Join a dynamic team dedicated to shaping the future of the automotive industry and revolutionizing glass product applications.
Your Mission:
As an Enamels Specialist, you will be responsible for managing projects focused on the development of innovative environmental enamels for automotive applications (such as the development of applications for glass products (windscreens, rear windows, sunroofs, etc.), solutions related to autonomous driving and advanced driver assistance systems). This includes setting specifications, developing solutions, collaborating with partners and suppliers, industrialization and reporting project results. Working with researchers and technicians, you will help to develop enamel competence in Europe.
Your Scientific Skills:
- A science enthusiast with a strong academic background, holding a degree (MSc or PhD) in material engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the enamel field, in both research and industrial environments
- A proactive self-starter with excellent project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Profound knowledge of enamels, silver paste, wet coating, ink, and ceramics.
- Experience with enamel application and printing processes, including screen printing, inkjet, and digital printing.
- Understanding enamel compatibility with other coating applications, such as PVD coating deposition or other enamel, wet coatings, is advantageous.
- Automotive experience will be a plus.
