Adoc Talent Management is looking for a Hybrid Expert for its client. Our client is a leading international group, specializing in electricity storage through the development of batteries based on the world's only LMP® (lithium-metal-polymer) technology.
Position
As part of the new transatlantic R&D center, you will take part in setting up and accelerating the achievement of R&D milestones associated with the hub, in coordination with the hub manager.
You will build and manage a team of experts. You will propose innovative research programs, while identifying the skills, technological and financial resources needed to develop the technological projects. You will be in charge of building and managing the R&D team in charge of these developments, and participate in its recruitment.
Thanks to your scientific and technical background, you will aggregate, support and grow the expertise of the your team, while pooling the hub's acquired knowledge with that of other hubs.
You'll challenge the experts, and your team will be working in a state-of-the-art laboratory with the most advanced equipment. What's more, you'll be responsible for developing industrial-scale prototypes in-house. You will also manage staff who work for the facilities of partner laboratories.
You will be responsible for developing scientific partnerships and for providing ad hoc support to other areas of expertise and other departments, or requesting their assistance. Finally, you will be responsible for ensuring that your team achieves its objectives, and for promoting results through internal reporting and scientific communication (congresses, patents, scientific publications).
The position is to be filled on a permanent basis nearby Quimper (29, France), as soon as possible.
Profile
You hold a PhD in electrochemistry, chemistry, materials chemistry or an equivalent field, and have at least 10 years' experience in an industrial environment, enabling you to develop technical skills and in-depth knowledge of electrochemical phenomena. You have expertise in inorganic, ceramic and/or hybrid organic/inorganic electrolytes, and have worked on Li-ion and/or Na-ion batteries.
Over the course of your career, you have developed solid team and project management skills, and are fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
You are well-structured, have a strong sense of organization and leadership, and a very good analytical mind. You have a strong taste for teamwork, know how to unite around common projects and are capable of arguing and taking the necessary decisions.

Poste
Au sein du nouveau centre de R&D transatlantique, vous Participer à la mise en place et accélérer l'atteinte des jalons de R&D associés au hub en coordination avec le responsable de pôle.
Vous managerez une équipe experte. Vous proposerez des axes de recherche innovants tout en identifiant les compétences, les ressources technologiques et financières nécessaires au développement du projet technologique. Vous serez en charge de construire et de piloter l’équipe R&D en charge de ces développements et participer à son recrutement.
Grâce à votre bagage scientifique et technique, vous assurerez la codification des connaissances de l'expertise de l'équipe du hub tout en mettant en commun les connaissances acquises du hub avec celles des autres hubs.
Vous challengerez d’autres expert·e·s et votre équipe évoluera au sein d’un laboratoire ayant des moyens matériels dernier cri. De plus, vous serez garant de l’évolution des prototypes à échelle industrielle en interne. Vous managerez également du personnel pouvant être basé à distance (laboratoires partenaires).
Vous serez chargé(e) de développer des partenariats scientifiques et d'assurer un soutien ponctuel à d'autres pôles d'expertise et à d'autres services ou de solliciter leur aide. Enfin, vous serez garant·e de l’atteinte par votre équipe des objectifs fixés et valoriserez les résultats à travers du reporting interne et de la communication scientifique (congrès, brevets, articles scientifiques).
Le poste est à pourvoir en CDI à côté de Quimper (29), dans les plus brefs délais.
Profil
Titulaire d’un diplôme de Doctorat en électrochimie, chimie, chimie des matériaux ou tout domaine équivalent, et justifiez d’une expérience d’au moins 10 ans acquise en milieu industriel vous ayant permis de développer des compétences techniques et des connaissances approfondies des phénomènes électrochimiques. Vous possédez une expertise en électrolytes inorganiques, céramiques et/ou hybrides organiques/inorganiques et avez travaillé sur des batteries Li-ion et/ou Na-ion.
Au cours de votre carrière vous avez développé des compétences solides en management d’équipe et de projet, et maîtrisez l’anglais et le français (écrit et parlé).
Structuré·e, vous avez le sens de l’organisation et un fort leadership, ainsi qu’un très bon esprit d’analyse. Vous avez un goût prononcé pour le travail en équipe, savez fédérer autour de projets communs et êtes capable d’argumenter et de prendre les décisions qui s’imposent.
