Adoc Talent Management is recruiting a “Senior Field Application Engineer” for the Sales/Marketing/BD Team of its client, a dynamic and growing startup, a semiconductor company offering a portfolio of IoT connected devices including energy harvester/power management interfaces, microcontrollers and sensor solutions. They develop top-performing power harvesting technologies that derive, store and optimize energy to make device energy-autonomous and more efficient.
The Senior FAE is responsible for managing, guiding and training the FAE team to provide advanced technical support for the sale of the company's flagship products.
You will coach the FEA team to guide them and implement best practice to meet performance targets. You act as a true ambassador for the company in this key position. You will liaise with customers and partners, as well as the sales and application engineering (AE) team, to support the company's international development for various application areas and client segments. You will fully understand, review and recommend any design/technical improvements to existing customer designs.
In addition, you will be responsible for customer/partner requests for product customisation and will propose and contribute to the implementation of a suitable solution.
You will create or develop customer relationships and maintain high levels of engagement and satisfaction. You will write and present technical documentation, reports, recommendations at Customers, at Seminars/Trade Shows, and at on-line Webinars.
You will travel to meet customers and discuss their project, approximatively 30% of the time.
You have a degree in EE (BS/MS/PhD) specialized in analog expertise/power energy management), computer science, data science or related field. You have at least 5+ years of experience as a FAE in the semiconductor industry. You are passionate about EE device innovations combining technical optimisation, solution efficiency and environmental engagement.
Beside your strong technical skills, you have a gift for understanding customer needs and translating them into the right solution. You have a real talent for establishing and maintaining excellent follow-up and relationships with your clients and partners.
