Adoc Talent Management is currently recruiting for our client a Tech Sales Engineer – Computational Biology. Our Client is a startup that disrupts in silico approaches for drug discovery by creating a digital twin of the cell. This relies on the combination of state-of-the-art artificial intelligence technologies, system engineering and omics data analysis. After setting up collaborations with leaders in the pharmaceutical sector and the best academic laboratories in the field, the company is now strengthening both its scientific team and its sales team.

Position

Under supervision of the CEO & the Sr VP Business Development and in close collaboration with the sales teams, your mission will be to develop and strengthen the business, providing a high level of expertise and technical support. Thus, you will take charge of pre-sales. You will analyze the needs of the Clients from the Pharma and Biotech industries. You will assist on demos, write specifications, present the different products developed by the company to model cells and based on patented technologies, in a technical way. You will also analyze the last publications to find relevant partners and stay up to date with state-of-the-art on relevant technologies.

For those different missions, you will be in direct interactions with both the clients, the account managers and the technical teams and will act as a “translator” between the different persons.

The position, offering real autonomy in its missions, is to be filled as soon as possible on a permanent contract, in Paris, but remote working from another location in France or internationally can be considered.

Requirements

You hold a PhD in systems / computational / network biology or bioinformatics or a master degree plus R&D experience in the analysis and computational modeling of complex biological systems and/or working with multiomics and single cell data. A business/sales background (degree or experience) would be a plus, but is not mandatory. Experience in the Pharma / Biotech industry and a network would be real assets for your application.

You are passionate about artificial intelligence and its applications to the health field and want to be actively involved in the growth of this market.

Above all, you are an excellent communicator and you are business oriented. You show up excellent interpersonal skills, analytic mind and a good ability to listen and analyze complex scientific needs. You are at ease in situations when you need to convince and negotiate.

Appreciating multidisciplinary teamwork, interactions with experts and non-experts both internally and with clients are sources of motivation for you. Due to the global market served by the company, you are fluent in English and ideally French. In order for you to be comfortable in a Startup context, your autonomy, your versatility, your pragmatism, your dynamism, your sense of organization and time management are important assets.
