Adoc Talent Management is looking for an R&D Engineer for the development of a novel cardiovascular implant and transcatheter delivery system. Our client is an innovative start-up working on catheter-delivered (TTVR) heart valve product development.
As a member of the R&D team, you will work with the R&D Director on the design and development of an innovative transcatheter implant and delivery system.
Your main activities will be divided into three major areas, including design requirements development, 3D drawing preparation, and creation and improvement of prototypes.
In order to do so, you will develop and conduct tests aimed at evaluating the technology internally as well as with external partners and participate with pre-clinical studies.
Finally, you will participate in preparing quality documentation related to the transcatheter implant, delivery system and development process, working closely with the Quality Manager.
You hold a diploma in biomedical or mechanical engineering, or a related field, and you have at least 3 years of experience with Class 3 implantable devices, in particular in catheter design and cardiovascular devices. You are fluent in Solidworks and ideally have experience in 3D printing, as well as with product testing and verification activities.
