Is the development of key technologies on a global level your thing?

Our client is a mission-oriented Research and Technology Organisation (RTO) active in the fields of materials, environment and IT. They develop competitive and market-oriented product/service prototypes for public and private actors and work on the whole innovation chain: basic/applied research, incubation, technology transfer.

The MRT (Material Research & Technology) department, with its 200 researchers and engineers, develops activities hinge on five thematic pillars: nanomaterials, nanotechnology, scientific instrumentation and process technology, structural composites, and functional polymers. The department also includes four high-tech platforms (CoreTech), focusing on composites, prototyping, characterization and testing. These platforms serve both intern research staff, and other stakeholders in Luxembourg.

The Powder and Colloidal Engineering Group is looking for an Experienced Researcher in Nanomaterials Synthesis to to synthetize boron nitrides/ aluminium nitride (boron complexes) with a focus on hydrogen and energy storage applications and wider applications such as composites, heat management, development of new materials.

The successful candidate will be based in Belvaux in Luxembourg.
