Adoc Talent Management is recruiting an “Test Engineer” for the R&D Team of its client, a dynamic and growing startup, a semiconductor company offering a portfolio of IoT connected devices including energy harvester/power management interfaces, microcontrollers and sensor solutions. They develop top-performing power harvesting technologies that derive, store and optimize energy to make device energy-autonomous and more efficient.

Your Role

The Test Engineer is responsible to take on the back-end support of the products. According to the requirements of the developers you will develop the boards to test the IC prototypes once they are out of the foundry and support the developers in the testing those ICs.

Further, to fully characterize the circuits, you will elaborate programs to control the test equipment used for the automated testing. You will work closely with the development team assisting in the debug process. You will also provide technical support to our subcontractor in charge of the production tests.

Your daily tasks include:

  • Design of test and evaluation boards for company's integrated circuits
  • Performing tests to validate the behaviour of the circuits
  • Definition and coding of automated test programs
  • Performing the exhaustive characterization of the circuits, across multiple samples and temperature range
  • Characterization and documentation writing for e-peas integrated circuits
  • Providing technical support to subcontractors in charge of the production tests and of the qualification tests.


You have a BS/Msc degree in Electronic engineering.

You have knowledge and ability with lab equipment such as SMUs, oscilloscopes, etc..

You are good at coding test software with Python or LABVIEW. You demonstrate good skills in general electric analysis for troubleshooting. You have experience with schematic capture and PCB layout design.

You are a rigorous, quality-conscious engineer, capable of thinking outside the box. You are able to work autonomously while being a good team player. You communicate effectively with your teammates. You are fluent in English or French.
