Our client is a MedTech startup developing an AI-powered MR surgical navigator that will allow surgeons to quickly generate 3D models from a patient’s diagnostic imaging scans. This immersive mixed-reality technology will be used for education, diagnosis and treatment planning.

In order to accelerate the development of their solution, they are looking for a VisionOS Developer who will play a key role in designing and developing cutting-edge applications for Apple’s Vision Pro platform.

You’ll work closely with the engineering manager to create immersive and intuitive AR/VR experiences. This role requires a deep understanding of Apple’s VisionOS, ARKit, SwiftUI, and related frameworks, with a focus on delivering seamless performance and stunning visuals in real-world environments.

Your tasks

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications for the Vision Pro platform using VisionOS, ARKit, and RealityKit
  • Implement user interfaces and interactions that align with best practices for immersive environments
  • Implement a CI/CD pipeline to support your team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to bring innovative ideas to life
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in VisionOS, AR/VR technologies, and spatial computing
  • Conduct testing and assist with quality assurance for VisionOS applications across various devices and use cases

Your profile

IMPORTANT: You either have experience in AR/VR/MR OR experience with iOS/macOS, Swift and Xcode - Ideally both

  • 4+ years of experience in iOS/MacOS Swift application development
  • Experience in (VisionOS), ARKit, and RealityKit for developing AR/VR applications
  • Strong experience with Swift and Xcode
  • Understanding of 3D mathematics, spatial computing, and real-time rendering pipelines
  • Knowledge of user interface design principles for immersive environments
  • Experience with making API requests and integrating network interfaces into AR/VR applications
  • Experience in implementing testing frameworks with CI/CD pipelines
  • Fluent in English is mandatory, bilingual ideally

Asset:

  • Familiarity with game engines like Unity3D or Unreal Engine
  • Background in machine learning, computer vision, or AI in AR/VR.
