Adoc Talent management is looking for a Head of Preclinical to lead pre-clinical testing activities of its client, a fast-growing company specialized in cutting edge biomaterials technologies development and commercialization, to improve health of patients across various medical indications, in particular tissue reconstruction.
As the Head of Pre-clinical, your main responsibilities will be to manage a team composed of 2 to 3 scientists from diverse expertise, and design and manage pre-clinical testing in various therapeutical area, in accordance with new regulations.
Thus, you will be the contact point with competent authorities and provide them preclinical data as well as technical files preparation and responses to their inquiries.
To work on these innovative polymer-based technologies, you will leverage the existing polymer platform data to accelerate product development and regulatory approvals. As the pre-clinical expert, you will have strong interaction with various teams and departments, in particular regulatory affairs but also R&D, industrialization, Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls to support product development by preparing protocols and reports.
Coordination and management of outsourced studies with subcontractors will also be part of your main responsibilities. Depending on the evaluations, you may be requested to select and build new collaboration with various subcontractors.
This position is to be filled as soon as possible, and does not require being based in Paris, although office presence is required regularly.
You hold a Master, Engineer or PhD degree in preclinical research, biomedical engineering or any related filed, and have an extended similar experience of more than 10 years in pre-clinical project management of Class III medical devices.
You are a team player with excellent communication skills and have a strong leadership. You would like to collaborate with many various experts. You are curious and open-minded, rigorous, and detail-oriented in order to adapt to different challenges, through all phases of technologies’ evaluation.
