Notre client est un laboratoire de recherche expérimentale intégré à un groupe international et qui développe des produits innovants afin d’apporter un bénéfice sur la santé qui renforce son équipe dans le cadre d’ambitieux projets de recherche en nutrition, cosmétique, etc.. Poste
Au sein du centre de recherche préclinique, vous serez chargé·e de travailler dans des domaines variés tels que l’agro-alimentaire, la cosmétique, la nutrition, la santé humaine, la santé des plantes et les biomatériaux.
Concrètement, vous aurez pour mission la mise en place les tests microbiologiques puis assurer leur réalisation afin de valider la qualité des produits cosmétiques et alimentaires selon les normes ISO en vigueur.
Vous effectuerez des challenges tests cosmétiques. Vous serez en charge de tenir à jour de façon permanente une veille bibliographique portant sur les applications liées à la microbiologie dans les différents secteurs de la société. Aussi, vous caractériserez les activités métaboliques, sélectionnerez et optimiserez les micro-organismes selon les fonctions recherchées.
Enfin, vous mettrez en place une stratégie de recherche et une démarche expérimentale afin d’étudier le microbiote cutané et intestinal.
Le poste est à pourvoir dès que possible en CDD de 6 mois à temps plein, avec une possibilité d’évolution vers un CDI. Basé à proximité d’Agen et requiert le permis B et un véhicule personnel pour se rendre sur site.
Profil
Vous êtes titulaire d’un doctorat en microbiologie ou en biotechnologies. Une expérience de deux ans dans au moins un de ces domaines est souhaitée.
Vous maîtrisez les techniques de dénombrement et de culture des différents micro-organismes, tels que les bactéries, les levures, et les champignons, aussi bien en conditions aérobies qu'anaérobies.
La maîtrise des techniques de caractérisation biochimique des activités métaboliques, incluant le dosage enzymatique et la chromatographie, est également requise.
Vous êtes une personne curieuse et innovante, ayant un goût prononcé pour les challenges et étant capable de proposer de nouvelles idées. Une grande capacité d’adaptation et une autonomie sont indispensables pour ce poste.

Position
Within the preclinical research center, you will be responsible for working in various fields such as food, cosmetics, nutrition, human health, plant health, and biomaterials.
Specifically, your mission will be to set up microbiological tests and then ensure their implementation to validate the quality of cosmetic and food products according to current ISO standards.
You will conduct cosmetic challenge tests. You will be responsible for continuously updating a bibliographic watch on applications related to microbiology in the different sectors of the company. Additionally, you will characterize metabolic activities, select and optimize microorganisms according to the desired functions.
Finally, you will develop a research strategy and an experimental approach to study the skin and gut microbiota.
The position is to be filled as soon as possible on a full-time 6-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of evolving into a permanent position. It is based near Agen and requires a category B driving license and a personal vehicle to travel to the site.
Profile
You hold a PhD in microbiology or biotechnology. Two years of experience in at least one of these fields is desired.
You are proficient in techniques for enumerating and culturing various microorganisms, such as bacteria, yeasts, and fungi, in both aerobic and anaerobic conditions.
Proficiency in biochemical characterization techniques of metabolic activities, including enzyme assays and chromatography, is also required.
You are curious and innovative, with a strong preference for challenges and the ability to propose new ideas. High adaptability and autonomy are essential for this position.
