Adoc Talent Management is recruiting the Head of Lead Generation for its client, a fast-growing crop protection and food scale-up company developing a new generation of protein-based biocontrol solutions. Based on their ground-breaking technology platform, they have developed a broad pipeline of effective and safe products with novel modes of action, addressing key crop pests and diseases across the whole value chain, from soil to plate.
Under the responsibility of the CSO, you will be responsible to further develop the platform within an international environment in guiding and promoting the scientific development of multidisciplinary Lead Generation Teams and working closely with the teams contributing to the delivery of bioactive leads aligned with their Ag and Food Business requirements.
Your daily task will consist in:
You have a PhD degree In Biological Sciences, such as in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Bioengineering (or a related field) and at least 8 years experience in antibody discovery (in academia and/or industry). You have an impressive track record (publications, conferences, patents, prizes, grants, awards...), be recognised by your peers at the international level and demonstrate expertise in Abs target selection and validation, immunization and selection strategy. You have strong analytical and data interpretations skills and you have an accurate knowledge about the cutting-edge technics in the field (WB, ELISA, FACS, GPCR, Flow cytometry, Ab Phage display, SPR, IHC, ICC, IF..).
You have strong line and matrix leadership skills with experience of building and motivating teams. You are a real builder of collaborations with different types of stakeholders and partners (labs, CROs, CDMOs, Ag & Food Tech companies).
You have an entrepreneurial mindset, you are flexible, agile and a resilient person. You demonstrated ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You have excellent reporting and communication skills (fluent in English, written and spoken). You have a positive attitude, solid work ethic, strong team player and self-motivated individual desired.
The position will be located in Belgium (Dynamic Cluster in Ghent).
