We are recruiting on behalf of a renowned Research and Technology Organisation (RTO) a Senior R&T Scientist to contribute to the development and application of novel concepts in ion-matter interactions for nano-analytics and nano-fabrication.

Key Responsibilities

As a core member of the Advanced Instrumentation for Nano-Analytics (AINA) Group, you will:

  • Innovate: Advance knowledge in ion-matter interactions for analytical and nano-fabrication applications (e.g., sputtering, fragmentation, ionization).
  • Collaborate: Partner with academia and industry, lead interdisciplinary projects, and secure competitive funding.
  • Mentor: Guide early-stage researchers and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Deliver: Disseminate findings via patents, publications, and conferences while managing state-of-the-art lab equipment.
  • Strategize: Contribute to the group’s vision and goals.

Your Profile

  • Education: PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related Engineering field.
  • Expertise: Proven skills in ion-matter interactions, nano-analytical techniques, and process innovation. Experience in grant writing and valorizing research results.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with tools like TRIM, TRIDYN, data processing, and machine learning for correlative analysis. Ability to design and implement novel scientific and technological concepts for ion beam-based nano-analytical techniques.
  • Soft & behavioral Skills: Strong communicator, team player, force of proposal and project manager with an innovative mindset.
