Adoc Talent Management is recruiting an “Application Engineer” for the R&D Team of its client, a dynamic and growing startup, a semiconductor company offering a portfolio of IoT connected devices including energy harvester/power management interfaces, microcontrollers and sensor solutions. They develop top-performing power harvesting technologies that derive, store and optimize energy to make device energy-autonomous and more efficient.

Your Role

The Application Engineer is responsible for providing back-end support for the company's products. Based on developer requirements, you will develop boards to test prototype ICs once they leave the foundry and assist developers in testing these ICs.

In addition, you will create evaluation boards for existing products as well as demonstrators showing examples of typical applications.

You will work closely with the development teams, passing on any significant feedback on the product that you have gathered to improve its design. You will also provide technical responses to requests from the sales department, helping to deliver innovative solutions by making the most of the company's products.

Your daily tasks include:

  • Test board and evaluation board design with e-peas integrated circuits
  • Creation of demonstration circuits and reference design
  • Characterization and documentation writing for e-peas integrated circuits
  • Providing technical solutions for customer specific projects
  • Management of the subcontractors involved in PCBs fabrication and boards mounting


You have a BS/Msc degree in Electronic engineering.

You have experience with schematic capture and PCB layout design. You demonstrate good skills in general electric analysis for troubleshooting.

You have a serious advantage, if you have knowledge (and/or experience) :

  • with lab equipment such as SMUs, oscilloscopes,..
  • of embedded software development
  • with RF design and applications

You are a rigorous, quality-conscious engineer, capable of thinking outside the box. You are able to work autonomously while being a good team player. You communicate effectively with your teammates. You are fluent in English or French.
