Adoc Talent Management is looking for an R&D Engineer for the development of a novel cardiovascular implant and transcatheter delivery system. Our client is an innovative start-up working on catheter-delivered (TTVR) heart valve product development.

Job Description

As part of the R&D team, you will work with the R&D Director on the design and development of an innovative transcatheter implant and delivery system.

As a mechanical expert, you will work on design requirements development, 3D drawing preparation, creation and improvement of prototypes. Thus, you will be in charge of protocol development and will perform and conduct product testing internally as well as with external partners, in accordance with standards and regulations. You will also be in charge of finding suppliers for the manufacturing stage of the product.

You will participate in preparing quality documentation related to the transcatheter implant, delivery system and development process, working closely with the Quality Manager and R&D Director.

Finally, you’ll be involved in pre-clinical stage by supporting pre-clinical studies as needed.

This position is to be filled as soon as possible, and does not require being based in Paris, although office presence is required regularly.


You hold a diploma in mechanical engineering, or a related field, and you have at least 3 years of experience with Class 3 implantable devices, in particular in catheter design and ideally for cardiovascular or vascular devices. You are fluent in Solidworks and have knowledge on conception, as well as with product testing and verification activities.

Thanks to your strong problem-solving abilities, you can deal with complex situations and you are adaptable, curious and a strong team contributor. You are fluent in English.
