Adoc Talent Management is looking for an Engineer/Architect in multi-processor System-on-Chip, for a major global group with strong leadership in telecommunications. Its European R&D centre creates new proprietary technological building blocks to be implemented in the company's ICT products.
within the Grenoble research institute, You will join a R&D team dedicated to cutting edge development for System-On-Chip Technology.
Your role will be focused on: Advanced exploration in HW architecture in order to create innovative Socs for network equipment. Also, you will take charge of elaborating key technologies for future SoCs and CPU designs and promoting the use of these to improve product competitiveness.
This includes proposing new concepts to be implemented. Your tasks will include: HW/SW architecture, Design Space Exploration, hardware modeling, software performance optimization, AI acceleration. Your research will also cover these fields: data plane, control plane and edge computing.
You will also be involved in collaborative relationships with industry partners and top tier academia institutes and may write patents.

You are a PhD, engineer or hold a master’s degree in micro-electronics, ideally with an industrial experience about design, architecture, HW modeling, SoCs or RTL design. You have a strong background in computer science and chip microarchitecture. A knowledge about memory hierarchy and interconnect principles would be a plus.
A strong learning ability to quickly master new areas of knowledge is needed. There’s no specific background in networking required.
You are a team player and at the same time have strong abilities to conduct independent R&D projects. You enjoy sharing your expertise and communicate with impact. You are fluent in English, French is a plus.
